Jailbreak iOS 12 to 14.8.1 Using Checkra1n | Latest update

Checkra1n is a semi-tethered jailbreak based on the ‘checkm8’ bootrom exploit. It supports iOS 12 to iOS 14.8.1 (A9 – A11 devices and A11 support is limited with Checkra1n ) . Both Mac & Linux support.

 

Follow Steps to Jailbreak iOS 12 to iOS 14.8.1

 

Step 1.  Download the latest version of the checkra1n app for your Mac.

 Download 

Step 2.  Install it into your /Applications folder

Step 3.  Launch the checkra1n app. If  Apple’s security settings won’t allow your Mac to open the app . Follow Steps

             

Open System Preferences app and select the Security & Privacy option.

Select “Open Anyway” and enter your administrator password.

run the checkra1n app again and you shouldn’t have any issues.

Step 4. Connect your device and then click the Options button and Tick Allow untested iOS/iPadOS/tvOS versions. iPhone 8 and X user Also Tick Skip 11 BPR check. Then Click on Back

Step 5. Click the Start button and select OK. On some devices auto Recovery not works. Enter recovery mode manually.

Step 6. Choose “Next” and then follow the instructions. Following these steps will result in your device getting put into DFU Mode.

Step 7.  Jailbreak will start after DFU mode. The iPhone or iPad will reboot during the process

Step 8.  Open checkrain App and install Cydia

Step 9.  Open Cydia and upgrade All

Step 10.  Install and Enjoy your Favourite Tweaks
