How to install iOS 16 developer beta Free without Developer Account | New Features & Risks

WWDC is Apple's annual Worldwide Developers Conference where Apple show off the next generation of the operating systems that run all of  its idevices. WWDC22 event was held  on June 6 - `10. 

IOS 16 Developer Beta (introduced on June 6 at WWDC)   

Apple has released the developer preview of the iOS 16 to enable developers to bring changes to their apps and add support for new APIs.

New Features

•                     Customizable Lock Screen

•                     Messages (Ability to edit / delete )

•                     Apple Pay ( Split a purchase into four payments over six weeks with no interest )

•                     iCloud Shared Photo library ( Share pictures in separate iCloud library )

•                     Family Sharing (Allowing parents to set up children’s devices much quicker and easier )

Risks of installing  

Beta means Unfinished. Please note that this is not the final version of the OS and there are chances of bugs and other issues.

•                     Performance and Stability Issues.

•                     Unsupported Apps.

•                     You May Lose Your Data.

Requirements to install iOS 16   

•                     Supported Device

•                     Battery 100% or Connected to Charger

•                     Wifi Connection.

Note : Make sure you back up your device before installing beta software

Simple steps to get betas

1.  Open safari browser and Search betaprofiles.com

2.  Go down to iOS 16 beta and Click on Install Profile

3.  It gives Warning. Click on Install Anyway

4.  After clicking on Install Anyway , You will see a popup. Tap Allow on Popup

5.  Open Setting App > Profile downloaded

6.  Click on iOS 16 beta Software profile and follow the prompts to install

7.  Restart your Device   

8.  After restart Go to Settings > General > Software Update. Now you can see beta updates

9.  Click on Download and Install. Enter your Device Password

Note : You only need to install the beta profile once, the next updates will appear in the Settings app > General > Software Update.

How to Stop receiving beta Update

1.  Go to Settings > General > Profiles and tap the iOS 16 beta software profile

2.  Tap the iOS 16 beta software profile. Tap remove profile. Enter your device password and then tap remove.

Note : After removing beta profile, Your iOS device will no longer receive iOS developer betas.
